A three-part series for educators and education leaders. Module 1 — “Mindsets, Maps & Margins” — explores how perceptions of students and the structural patterns around them affect achievement, discipline, and school culture, including concentrated poverty, school zoning, and housing policy. Module 2 — “How Systems Shape Thinking, and Thinking Shapes Schools” — breaks down how unexamined beliefs get encoded into policy, addressing discipline disparities, special-education referrals, school closures, and underfunding. Module 3 — “Seeing the Unseen in Our Schools” — connects perception, policy, and place, helping leaders advocate for systemic change from classroom practice to boardroom policy.
